After the retirement of Prof. Dr. Jürgen Gmehling in April 2011, DDBST GmbH took over all rights and obligations of the University of Oldenburg. In order to mark this event, the ninth common meeting of the UNIFAC Consortium and the  DDBST User Meeting took place on Tuesday 13th September 2011 and Wednesday 14th September 2011 at TGO (Technologie- und Gründerzentrum Oldenburg) and at DDBST, respectively.
The present status and the latest research activities on UNIFAC, mod. UNIFAC (Do) and PSRK were presented in short lectures. The company representatives had the opportunity to suggest possible future developments.
In the second part of the meeting the participants discussed proposals and practicable suggestions for the future developments of UNIFAC, mod. UNIFAC (Do), and PSRK at the research group.In the evening all participants were invited to join the laboratory tour, followed by the dinner.

 Many thanks to all the participants for creating a nice atmosphere full of constructive discussions during the oral sessions!
